TER22

TYPOLOGY: RESIDENTIAL CASEWORK
LOCATION: VANCOUVER, BC

  • TER22 is a compact yet thoughtful kitchen project developed in close collaboration with the client, who approached us with a clear design vision: a streamlined, clutter-free kitchen with no overhead cabinets to maintain openness and maximize natural light. Our role was to refine, detail, and fabricate their concept with precision.

The main kitchen wall features a full-length linear run below multiple windows, allowing light to pour in from two directions. The counter seamlessly extends into a built-in dining nook, forming a cozy and functional corner of the home. Beneath the banquette, we integrated hidden storage compartments to house utility items and board games, adding practical value without visual bulk. On the opposite wall, full-height white cabinets—including the pantry, fridge, and freezer—are kept intentionally minimal to blend quietly into the architecture.

This project showcases a restrained material palette and carefully considered detailing to balance simplicity and function. In addition to the kitchen, we also fabricated a matching bathroom vanity, continuing the clean and cohesive aesthetic into the private areas of the home.

Though modest in scale, TER22 reflects the best of collaborative design—where client vision and craftsmanship come together to create a space that is highly livable, light-filled, and elegantly efficient.
